HONEY FACTS: Honey is one of the world’s oldest sweeteners, renowned for its great taste but also for its therapeutic value. Generally speaking, honey has more nutrients and and is way less processed than sugarHoney varies in its nutritional composition depending on which plants the bees feed from when producing their nectar. But in general,honey is a good source of amino acids, antioxidants, enzymes, minerals and vitamins. The darker the honey the more minerals and antioxidants it contains. Raw honey is also richer nutrients than pasteurized honey.
2-3Tbsploose green or black teaor 3 to 4 tea bags, as desired
2litersor 1/2 gallon of water
For serving
2– 3 peacheseach cut into 8 wedges or slices
Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
For the syrup:
Wash, thinly slice and remove the seeds of the 2 peaches. Place them in a pot with the water, honey, cinnamon and rose geranium leaves. Bring to a quick boil over medium heat and then turn heat to low and simmer for a few minutes. Remove from heat.
Using a slotted spoon break up the peaches insideto infuse better. Do not mash them completely and do not use the blender as that would make your syrup cloudy.
Let it steep for 30 minutes. Strain, discard the peaches (you can use them in your morning cereal bowl, or have them with some yogurt) and let the syrup cool down.
Transfer to a bottle and store in the fridge for up to a week.
For the tea:
Follow the instructions for the tea making sure you do not let the tea steep longer as it may turn bitter. Mix the tea with the syrup and lots of ice. Transfer to a pitcher and serve immediately.
